How much does website maintenance cost in the Philippines?
What a site costs to keep once it is live: the monthly maintenance, the yearly renewals, and what to ask before you sign for either. Every price for this studio's work is one it charges, and every outside price is the seller's own, linked and dated.

The short answer
This studio's monthly maintenance is called the care plan: ₱3,000 for a typical month, or ₱27,000 for the year paid ahead instead of ₱36,000. Every month includes a search report. Hosting and your domain are free for the first year. After that you renew them directly with Hostinger: ₱3,407 a year for a .com and its smallest plan.
What moves the price
What the site runs on comes first. A WordPress site carries a theme and a set of plugins, and each one needs updating as its makers release fixes. The sites this studio builds are written in code, with no plugins to patch. When their framework releases a security update, applying it is part of the month.
Then what the site does. A page that shows and tells needs the least. Bookings, payments and an AI chat agent each add something that has to keep working.
Then how often it changes. A couple of small content edits fit in a typical month. Anything bigger, such as a new page, is work of its own.
What ₱3,000 a month buys
The care plan is optional on any tier. In a typical month it covers:
- Updates to the site and its framework
- Keeping the search markup current
- A couple of small content edits
- A monthly search report
- On a site with the AI chat agent, keeping the agent running
The search report: your clicks and the searches that found you, from Google Search Console; which pages Google has indexed; whether ChatGPT and Gemini name you for a few set questions; and a speed score for your main page.
Quoted before it starts: anything bigger, such as a new page.
Not in it: the hosting and the domain. You renew those yourself, in your name.
Pay a year ahead and any ₱3,000 monthly is 25% off: ₱27,000 for the year instead of ₱36,000.
The yearly bill, line by line
Hosting and your domain are free for the first year. After that you renew them directly with Hostinger, in your name. Here is the difference, at the prices Hostinger publishes on its hosting and .com pages, read on 18 October 2026.
| Year one | Every year after | |
|---|---|---|
| Hosting, Single plan | Free | ₱2,388 |
| .com domain | Free | ₱1,019 |
| To keep it online | ₱0 | ₱3,407 |
The care plan, if you keep it, is ₱36,000 a year, or ₱27,000 paid a year ahead: ₱39,407 or ₱30,407 a year in all from the second year.
A .ph address renews at ₱5,339 a year instead of ₱1,019.
Keeping an AI chat agent running
Your AI agent's first 3 months of care are included, so you see the questions it answers before you pay a monthly. After that the care plan keeps it running, ₱3,000 for a typical month. Stop any time: your site stays up and stays yours, and the agent pauses until you start again.
On a site this studio did not build, the agent is ₱10,000 to set up, then ₱3,000 a month.
A site someone else built
It can join the care plan in three steps:
- 1Send its address with a short brief. The quote is free.
- 2We audit it and quote the retrofit. It starts at ₱15,000 and costs more for a bigger site.
- 3Once that is done, the care plan keeps it current at ₱3,000 for a typical month.
Retrofit it when
- It still gets found on Google
- Most of its pages still matter
- It mostly needs a phone fix and a refresh
Start over as one page when
- Only a few pages still matter
- Fixing every old page would cost more
- A new page from ₱15,000 says it better
When you can skip a plan
A site that rarely changes can go without one. It stays up and stays yours for as long as the hosting and the domain are renewed, and anything you want changed later is quoted when you ask.
Keep the plan if the site runs the AI chat agent, which pauses without it, or if your prices, menus or schedules change every month.
Questions to ask any maintenance quote
- What does a typical month include, and what is quoted on top?
- How many content edits fit in a month?
- Do I get a report each month, and what does it show?
- What do the hosting and the domain cost at renewal, after any first-term discount?
- Is the domain registered in my name?
- Who holds the logins, and do I keep them if I stop?
- What happens to the site if I stop paying?
- Who do I talk to when something breaks?
Common questions
Does every website need maintenance?
Every site needs its hosting and its domain renewed, or it goes offline. The care plan on top of that is optional: a site that rarely changes can run without one, and a site with the AI chat agent needs it for the agent to keep answering.
Can I maintain my website myself?
The renewals, yes: on a site built here, the hosting and the domain are in your name and you renew them yourself. Updates and edits are done in the site's code, and that is what the care plan covers.
What happens if I stop paying for maintenance?
The site stays up and stays yours, as long as the hosting and the domain are renewed. On a site with the AI chat agent, the agent pauses until the plan starts again.
Is hosting included in the care plan?
Hosting and your domain are free for the first year. After that, you renew them directly, in your name, separate from the care plan. The site is yours, with the keys handed over.
How much does it cost to maintain a website for a year?
From the second year, ₱3,407 for a .com and Hostinger's Single plan, plus ₱36,000 for the care plan, or ₱27,000 if you pay it a year ahead.
